Vegan Fudgy Brownies
Oooey gooey rich chocolate brownies - oh, and they’re vegan ;)
Fudgy Vegan Brownies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup almond butter
- 1 cup brown or coconut sugar
- 3/4 cup apple sauce
- 3 flax eggs (3 tbsp ground flax with 6 tbsp water)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup (or more!) of chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Stir together the almond butter, coconut sugar, apple sauce, flax eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking soda. Stir again until combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and fold them into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a parchment-lined brownie tray.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool fully before slicing into squares and digging in! (Or eat warm at your own risk! It will be messy ;)
